Our Stallions are unique in every way and we handle them carefully and with great consideration for the fact that they are herd animals and need to socialize with other horses.
It is very important that Stallions are allowed to be normal horses. Stallions should not always be segregated, always stalled or kept from interacting with other horses, all of which contribute to a poor attitude and the development of negative habits often attributed to stallions. All of our stallions are turned out regularly and are free to run, play and enjoy the company of other horses.A Stallion's spirit is truly unique and they are beautiful and powerful animals. If they are handled and treated with respect, they are a joy to own and can interact with other horses without any issues.
Owning A Stallion
Take the stable time seriously. The stallion is a lonely creature and isolation is a very hard on them. Human contact is the only stimulation he may receive if you don't allow socialization with other gledings and or mares. Care for the stallion yourself, bringing him treats and taking him out regularly. Animals get depressed just like people when they are lonely and need interaction to remain physically & mentally helathy
We encourage ownership of these amazing animals. Stallions are gorgeous, loving and a joy to own. Prepare yourself for the commitment, time and discipline a stallion demands. Stallions are like children: if you don't spend time with them, they misbehave. As with all animal training, it is the owner who gets the training on how to take care for the animal properly.
