Dances With Horses has a number of horses on the property, some belong to us personally, some are donated to live out their lives with us and will never be sold.

We also have a sanctuary for horses and other animals. We offer a beautiful, peaceful, safe and lifelong setting for all animals that are donated to us. We are very interested in the draft breeds and rescue of PMU horses and stallions. We have found that many people are unfamiliar with how to care for the larger breeds properly including feed, farrier care and general health so we find numerous drafts in need of a new home.

We work with stallions and horses that have been mistreated or abused. All of our breeding stallions are turned out with other horses and allowed to interact and socialize and be normal horses. We intergrate stallions slowly with other geldings and other stallions in order to allow them to live a life that does not entail constant segration from other horses which leads to bad habits and foul attitudes. Our mares are kept separate to alleviate reasons for confrontations.

We also provide housing for horses when individuals or families go on vacation for extended periods and need a safe place for their horse.

We pride ourselves on having horses on our farm that are very unique in every way. We love the rare breeds, the black color, the pintos as well as the larger horses whether they be draft breeds or large saddle horses. All of our horses exceed 16 hands and most exceed 17 hands.

We love horses of all breeds and generally have a wide variety of breeds to include: Shire, Friesian, Saddlebred, Clydesdale, Gypsy Vanner, Drum Horse, Percheron, Belgian, Tennessee Walker and we enjoy many half Friesians.

We have a number of friends who specialize in specific breeds that offer a variety of beautiful horses for sale and who will be honest and upfront in representing the horses that they offer for sale.
